Soul Survivor 2002

10,200 people went from all over the UK.

It was fantastic. There are various activities going on throughout the day.

• music: Phatfish, Matt Redman, Tim Hughes and lots of others you will have heard of!
• prayer tents
• seminars from Bishops and other wise and mysterious people.

The seminars vary on topic, and go down different routes like: "Going Deeper with God", "Emerging leaders Stream", "Student Track", "Soul Sista and Soul Man" and lots of others. They are led by various talkers, like bishops, singers and the very funny Mike Pilavchi.

Other activities include workshops, sports, the arts, ministry, cafes, market stalls, speakers, cyber cafe and many many more!

I went last year and it did a lot for my faith and I learnt so much from it, that I almost missed a chance to go to Italy this year by wanting to go!

This worship festival is aimed at young people, but all ages are very welcome (they have had people up to the age of 81 attending!)

The downside is that its camping. There are good facilities though, even though the showers aren't always hot! But it is well worth it. (It is a very nice feeling to wake up and smell bacon sandwiches every morning!)

It is an experience of a lifetime and is well worth it. If you can, go.

When and Where?

This year it will be in Shepton Mallet near Bath in Somerset. We will be going in August, from the 11th to the 15th we hope.
