March 14th-16th A weekend of marriage enrichment

Friday evening social 7.30pm Church Centre

Bring food, drink and a wedding photo. Come dressed up as famous couples - could be fictional OR just come as you!

Saturday Church Centre Start Time 9.45am

David & Jean Smith will be taking our morning and afternoon sessions. They are a couple from St Michael the Belfry who used to be leaders there during David Watsons time and have lots of experience.

• Arrive 9.45am Settle & sort children!
• Start 10am Intro and couple of songs
• Session 1 Jean Smith: Leaving & Cleaving

• Coffee break

• Session 2 David Smith: Inherited Tendencies (things we bring into our marriages from our past)

• 12.45pm Lunch (see below)
• 1.30pm Men & Women groups

• Chance for talk/pray/questions
• Prayer of re-commitment
• Finish No later than 4pm

Please note that we will do re-commitment at the end of the Saturday session rather than on Sunday (we will have a prayer for marriages in the service) so as to include those who help in Children's Ministry.

The times above are approximate but we will stick to the lunch time (bring a packed lunch).

Children will join us for lunch.

Sunday morning

David will be preaching and there will be special prayer for marriages.

Sue is trying to organise some children's work for the Saturday. Please let the office know if you are not able to arrange child care yourself.

We hope to follow up this event with The Marriage Course, an eight session course produced by Holy Trinity Brompton.
