Listening Course

Christian Listeners 4 Session Mini-Course

Once again we will be running this course in the church centre. Those who attended the course two years ago found it helpful.

The course will cover:

Listening to others

• identifying various levels of listening
• recognising different patterns of listening
• learning effective listening responses
• listening to the whole person, not just their words

Listening to ourselves

• learning to quieten ourselves before God, explore our own thoughts and feelings

Listening to God

• experiencing different ways of praying with the Bible through meditation, reflection and silence

The group will be encouraged to share from their own personal experience.

1. Friday 11th October 2002 7.30-10pm
2. Saturday 12th October 2002 10am-12.30pm
3. Friday 22nd November 2002 7.30-10pm
4. Saturday 23rd November 2002 10am-12.30pm

at St Matthias Church Centre, Burley.
