How To Sign Up To Yahoo

We are currently using various facilities from Yahoo Groups, including a discussion list, full church address list and photo albums. Whilst you can send and receive discussion list emails using just your existing email address, you will need to have a Yahoo account for the other features. Creating an account is simple and takes only a couple of minutes.

If you already have a Yahoo account you'd like to use, skip to 'Adding burleystmatthias to your Yahoo ID'.

Creating a Yahoo ID

1. Go to http://groups.yahoo.com/
2. Select 'Click here to register' from 'New users' on the left
3. Choose a Yahoo ID/password and fill in the information fields
4. Click 'Submit this form' and 'I accept' on the Terms of Service agreement
5. 'We have sent you a confirmation email'. Click 'Continue to Yahoo'
6. Check your mail. Read the confirmation email
7. Find 'Click here to activate your new account'. Will open your browser at the verification page. Continue.
8. Click 'Membership Wizard'.

Adding burleystmatthias to your Yahoo ID

1. Go to Yahoo's Membership Wizard: http://groups.yahoo.com/memwiz
2. Read the info, click 'Continue'
3. You should see 'burleystmatthias' listed. Click 'Continue'
4. That's it!

If your membership wasn't found, you may have been subscribed under a different email address. You can either go back to the Membership Wizard and add that address, or contact the discussion list administrator (andydickens-at-stmatthias.co.uk) and ask him to change the email address you're subscribed with.
