Aim And Vision

..encounter the transforming love of God - share it!

Some aims for the years ahead:

• To pursue God and holiness.

• Review each area of Church life in the light of our values.

• Affirm & encourage ministry in the church.

• Develop each area with in-house and outside training.

• Host conferences and events that resource God's people.

• To see the glory of God manifest amongst His people.

We believe in an all powerful God who created everything. This same God is all-knowing, all-seeing and all-loving - 'God is love.' He sent His Son Jesus, to die on a cross for us, so that we could be forgiven. Our aim is to worship this God with all our heart, because we believe He deserves it. For us, this means trying to live every day as people who believe in God, and honour Him. There are however, special times each week when we come together as believers to worship. Sunday mornings and evenings at the worship services, and in small groups that meet in homes once a week.

We also want to become a community of people who really love and belong to each other. Sharing with each other every part of life, not just the 'religious' bit! In fact we believe this is true religion - loving God and being committed to Him, and likewise loving each other and being committed to each other. It isn't just about us here now.
